The downloaded file will be called ec2v102.exe. When you run this file it will install Epicalc 2000 on your system.

EpiCalc is a 32-bit Microsoft Windows application and will run on any 32-bit version Microsoft Windows (i.e. '95 and later).

EpiCalc is now in version 1.02. This version fixes most of the bugs reported by users of versions 1.00 and 1.01 and incorporates many suggestions. Thanks for the bug reports and suggestions.

Users of Windows XP, VISTA, Windows 7, and Windows 8 may find that the program behaves oddly. This is due to Windows protecting itself from files being placed in the Windows directory by unsigned setup programs. You can fix this problem by deleting all copies of files named EpiCalc.ini, downloading a new version of EpiCalc.ini here, and then copying this file to your Windows directory.

Users of 64-bit versions of Windows (e.g. "Pro" versions of Windows 7 and 8) report that the program may fails to install. This can be fixed with a manual install:

Download and decompress the program files (255KB)

Copy all files to a directory such as:

C:\Program Files\EpiCalc2000

which you will have to create yourself.

Copy the EpiCalc.ini file to the \Windows directory.

The executable file is EpiCalc.exe.
